Waitress are very attentive and efficient. The food is tasty and well cooked. Cinnamon rolls are a must have.
Love this place for brunch. Usually extremely crowded from 10am until 1pm during weekends, but before and after these hours it’s easy to get in.
I have eaten here several times and the food has been consistently good and the service always friendly.
However the place have visible signs of wear inside, you can really notice if you have been in their other property in Liberty, and the only thing I dislike is that your clothes catch a very strong food smell after your walk out of the restaurant.
If you eat here on a Sunday for breakfast, the place gets really busy after 9 am and wait times over 30 minutes for a table are not unheard of.
The food was really good. The cinnamon rolls are huge and so delicious. The service was horrible the server took a very long wait to collect our drink order. Our food took longer then it should of. No apology what so ever. Never gave their name nor napkins or silverware. I've never given such a small tip ever. But the food is good for to go.
If they can address these small issues, it would be awesome.
I like getting the pork chop breakfast. The pork chops are boneless, lightly breaded, and not overcooked. Still tender and juicy.
Honest country cooking. Not always consistent but reliable. My favorite is the chicken fried chicken, brown gravy on the side. I like breakfast sides with it or fries & fried okra. Lately their eggs have always been overcooked or sitting under the window too long but with the right waitress they have a good breakfast menu.
Misty was the hostess and she sat us promptly. We had Mona as a server and she was great. Good here is always great. It's always busy but there never seems to be a wait and that works great for our family. If you want breakfast for dinner or a good home cooked meal Corner Cafe is your place. Oh, make sure you get a cinnamon roll too. They're awesome!
